:] TITLE Clever Katya

:] AUTHORS Julia Donaldson & Jane Kochnewitz

:] PUBLISHER Ginn and Company

This is an interesting story about Czar who thought he was the cleverest in Russia but Katya,a rural farmer's daughter proved him wrong. By not completing tasks given by Czar, she gives reasonable explainations to him ,twisting it around saying that she needs his help which was impossible for him to fulfill too. When Czar realised she was smarter than him, he decided to marry her but on her condition that when he get fed up of her and sends her back home, she will be allowed to take one thing she loved best in the palace. That very day came and Katya fulfilled her condition . Waking up in a large chest , Czar found himself staring at Katya in her father's house. Katya explained his promise and Czar was amazed. They returned to the palace and lived hapily ever after.
I have a feeling that the author wants to tell us to not think of ourselves as the brightest. Being humble is always the right thing to do. Act smart and think before you do before agreeing on anything. I have learnt not to be like Czar and to act wisely like Katya.

Why Should we care for our parents

Parents have been the ones who took care
of us since we were still sucking our thumbs.
They gave us their all and most importantly their love.
Without our parents, there wont be us.
While guiding us through our lives they provide
us with every thing we need.
Still most of us walk up to them when we only
need something.

Some of us think that our parents do not
like us because they are scolding us.
Do you think that way?
You do ?
Well, sorry to say ,
You are WRONG
The real reason they scold us is because
they ~LOVE ~us
If they don't , They wont even
tell us we are wrong.

We are very Lucky
But we don't realize it .
Have you ever thought of your parents?
Your mother,
takes care of the household and make sures everything goes well.
Your father ,
makes sure their will be food on the table everyday?
And we are getting all the privileges...
Have you ever thought of doing your part?
You did?
good.
You didn't ?
You better start this very instant!!
Simply saying "I love my parents and I appreciate them very much", is seriously not enough.
You better go home and give them a BIG hug and a kiss on the cheek.
That way they know you appreciate them .
That is only a simple way of doing your part
Just do good in your exams
They will be very happy with you.
Don't even think of getting an iPhone that way, Pavidren.
Love them , as much as you love your PlayStation portables
Hug them , its really comfortable
Tell them , you love them
Listen to them , listen to their advices
Show them, You've done you're part
Show them , they've have achieved their goal,
to raise successful children
Now they get home from work today
Hug them as hard as you can
Make sure they don't suffocate, okay?
...
Pn. Ng, DISCUSS!

To my dedicated parents,
Thank you for all your love that you have
gave to me. I appreciate all you have done for me.
I will never forget all
your effort to raise me from the day
I started breathing .
Without you both I will never be
here. I'll never get a chance
to experience life with both of you.
Never get a chance to cry on your shoulders.
Never get a chance to feel the love
you both showered on me.
I'm so grateful that now, I get
to express myself to tell
you both how much I appreciate
your guidance through my life.
A million thanks to you ,
mother and father.
From your daughter,
Sarah

A letter to a character

Dear tree,

Hi! I've read about you in a book. I really admire you for your kindness. You are so caring. I also read that a boy had been selfish to you while you treat him so well. You shold propably confront him. You remind me of my parents , who are always there for me. I wish I could tell that boy to be nicer to you. Some other time, I think he will come back and spend time with you and thank you for providing him with all you have. I've learn many things when I read your book. It tells me not to be like the boy to my parents. I'll write to you some other time !

A satisfied reader,
SARAH

Port Dickson ~

Hi there

Just back from Port Dickson..

I had a really good time

for I have not been there since I was six ..

Come On! That is six years you know

I can imagine your jaw dropping to your keyboard.. or even still in place because you have not

even been there before.. :p

I went there with 3 families

A real large group

Me & my childhood friend , Jazzmine

were the only girls .. the rest were boys..

We (the three families) are really close, and often go out together.

Port Dickson used to have real nice beaches..

but now.. It’s not as nice as before..

We were the only ones there

Seriously, no one else.

Not to mention,  It didn’t feel safe

for there were a group of strangers staring from a distance.

We had a feeling that they wanted to rob us ..

So we quickly walked back to Eagle ranch(that was where we were staying overnight.)

Last time when I was younger, 6 years old

I went to Port Dickson every single school holiday,

without fail.

And every time I went there, I would ride my favorite pony,

Sabrina.

She was pure white and only 1 year old then.

She recognizes me all the time

for I was there frequently.

I still remembered the first time I saw her..

A worker was bathing her when I was at the stable.

the worker allowed me to pat her and ride her around

for I was light then.

As time passed by , my dad gone bored of PD.

So we never been there for years .

And I didn’t get to see her .

Finally, after these years , My mom organized a trip to PD

with her other 3 friends .

I went over to the stable ,  I saw a really big elegant white horse.

I ran closer to have a closer look.

It wasn’t Sabrina . It’s name was Star.

Starting to panic a little ,I ran to each stable, looking for her.

I then spotted a young white pony with black hair on it’s back.

I had a look at it’s name which was printed on a piece of wood on the door of it’s stable.

It spelt out Sabrina

I was so happy to see her again

I went closer to the stable and looked at her.

She saw me and then looked away

She doesn’t  remember me ?

She looked really upset . I don’t know why.

I was  a little sad but still happy to see her again

for I never knew a horse’s life span.

The worker told me that a horse could live up to 35 years.

So now , I'm happy to see her again. i had a great time at Port Dickson.

Especially Go Kart.

it was my first time.

because last time I was six and was too short for it.

As for archery , i had a bull's eye!

yay~

Got some pictures here

Enjoy~!

Sharaton subang

Yesterday , I went to Sharaton subang with my family, grandmother and my cousins. It was okay but lacked in vareity ,unlike Sharaton Kuala Lumpur. It was my third time here so .. it was a little boring..
There was some difference too
Sorry, only one thing which was only different ...
The noodle bar...
But lucky , they had my all time favourite, CEASER SALAD!!
Sorry didnt get a photo of that..
I've taken pictures of food here
That's why the waiters were
looking at me suspiciously ..
Anyway, enjoy! ^^

Japanese appitizer ^^

Sushi on a boat !

My favourite, the various types of bread.
Crispy on the outside and rather soft in the inside
It was simply terrific!

The chocolate fondue^^
My cousin's favourite
for she has a sweet tooth
(Did I mention she ate 4 ice-creams back to back for dessert?!)
But at Sharaton kuala Lumpur,
you will find 3 chocolate fondues
White chocolate,
Chocolate,
and Dark chocolate

Strawberry dessert ^^
I was too full to try it..
Seafood on ice !
Sorry .. they dont skate..
unlike those disney characters^^

The fish ice sculpture^^

This was what I did to kill time with a tiny star-shaped watermelon and chocolate from the fondue counter while my parents and my cousin's parents were chatting.

I wish I could have a ride on those things ^^
The grand staircase! Whoa!!
